Your new role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Liverpool. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of a high-rise residential project, ensuring it is delivered on time and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale developments with a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing all aspects of the project's financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
Preparing and managing subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments.
Conducting risk analysis and implementing cost-saving strategies where possible.
Managing variations and change control processes.
Ensuring compliance with contractual and legal obligations.
Collaborating closely with project managers, site teams, and external stakeholders to ensure financial and operational efficiency.
Monitoring project cash flow and profitability.
Preparing detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.
What you will need to succeed:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the high-rise residential sector.
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
