Assistant Operations Manager - to c£55,000 - London
A new Trophy Asset situated in the vibrant financial district of London, this property—emerges as a remarkable emblem of innovation and urban evolution. Set to be completed in 2026, this iconic multi-tenant skyscraper reshapes the city’s skyline
* Using tact and diplomacy provide a customer-focused service ensuring a consistent, high-quality delivery to the occupiers in accordance with lease obligations, engaging with both their operational teams as well as the occupiers.
* Supervise the day-to-day service delivery of the contracted services including security, cleaning, window cleaning and reception, to ensure high standards and smooth service delivery of the property operations.
* Plan and Chair contractor performance reviews and tenant 1-1 meetings.
* Oversee the Service Desk facility ensuring a customer centric approach with timely and effective close of out of reported matters.
* Lead by example with a hands-on visibility, defines and promotes an operational vision that is relevant and benefitting the occupiers, visitor and all other users of the property.
* Proactive in building relationships and understanding the tenant’s business needs
* Plan and deliver the annual fire drill strategy at the property coordinating all stakeholders needs.
* Support the Company’s Activated and Accelerate strategies at property level.
* Lead and manage small works, tracking scope, cost and program.
* Deputise the Operations Manager in their absence.
* Supervise and motivate the operations team to achieve exceptional results..
* Support and engage in the growth and development of the Company.
* To be reasonably available outside normal working hours to cover for emergency situations.
Financial
* Monitor and reconcile service charge budget lines, in consultation with the Operations Manager.
* Support the effective administration of contracts and purchase orders.
* Maintain proper records of expenditure and spending commitments.
* Systems & processes
* Support the Company’s Health and Safety
* Deliver sustainable best practice in all areas of responsibility and assist in achieving the Company’s ESG targets and objectives
* Be familiar with all layouts within the building, undertaking building inspections and initiate / progress any required works.
* Assist in ensuring that health and safety compliance at the Property using the H&S Management System.
* Ensure any communication received for the property is dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
