Account Manager
Location: Near Towcester - NN7
Type: Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:45pm
Salary: £35,000+ plus commission (uncapped) and bonuses

This role is office based, with occasional meetings, and is not suited for someone looking for a field-based position.
Our client in Northamptonshire is seeking an Account Manager to take over a portfolio of existing clients within your region. This is an account management/business development role where most clients will know the company name; however, we need someone with the hunger to find new clients and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a portfolio of key clients, aiming to gain additional business in other areas.
2. Gain an accurate brief from the client.
3. Work with the design team to produce quotes.
4. Pass projects to the project management team.
5. Manage the marketing strategy for the business, actively promoting via email marketing, canvassing, and social media channels.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience of selling into the construction industry (or similar) is ideal.
2. Proven experience in a business development role, with a confident phone manner and negotiation skills.
3. An autonomous, self-motivated professional with a hunger to grow their own portfolio.
4. Ability to achieve targets and enjoy new challenges.
5. Commercially aware and able to understand new industries quickly.
