Data Researcher – Digital – Up to £40k 20% bonus, hybrid (2-3 days in office per week). Our client, a well-respected global data publisher, is looking for an experienced Researcher to join their friendly team. Our client is experiencing rapid growth, it’s a lovely team with extensive benefits including hybrid working with 2-3 days in their central London office per week. In addition, our client offers 25 days holiday (entitlement increases with length of service) birthday off, life assurance, 3pm Friday finish during summer, a pension scheme, season ticket loan, regular social events and more Within this role, you will lead the research and build out a comprehensive database for digital infrastructure, using publicly available information. As well as using web scraping tools to automate some aspects of data collection and validation, you will also be contacting companies directly, analysing the internal library and continually optimizing the data extraction process in order to improve speed and efficiency. What do I need? Experience in market research, ideally with a focus on digital infrastructure Familiarity with off-the-shelf web scraping tools (e.g. browse.ai, Magical) and skilled using various APIs. Capable of working independently as well as collaborating with teams to ensure timely and successful projects completion. Strong communication skills. Fast learner, detail and results oriented. Organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills in English.
