Location Manager - Rented Housing
Location: St Peters Court, Southend
Hours: 22 hours per week
Salary: Up to £26,707 per annum pro rata
About the role
As a Location Manager, you will work with different individuals every day in a varied role that connects with our communities. You'll need a good balance of heart and head to manage property matters, tenancy issues, and relationships with residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing properties and supporting residents to live independent lives.
* Letting properties, managing rent accounts, dealing with anti-social behaviour, and ensuring repairs are carried out.
* Listening to residents and addressing issues before they escalate into complaints.
* Taking ownership of complaints and investigating them fully, ensuring residents are listened to and kept informed.
* Maintaining resident trust and confidence through effective communication and setting expectations.
* Managing the location’s budget and service charge accounts, ensuring homes are well maintained and repairs are completed to a high standard.
* Ensuring safety through health and safety checks and risk assessments in accordance with policies and procedures.
* Supporting residents to live independently by collaborating with external agencies such as local authorities and care providers.
* Encouraging resident inclusion in social events both internally and in the wider community.
Are you the one?
We are looking for an individual who shares our values and possesses great relationship management and communication skills. Ideally, you will have previous housing or care experience, particularly with vulnerable client groups, but more importantly, you should have the right attitude, resilience, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn.
