I am working with a regional contractor, specialising in planned maintenance for the social housing sector, who currently have a requirement for a Health & Safety advisor on a permanent basis.
Job Overview
Providing expertise to support the implementation of H&S policies and procedures
* Raising awareness and supporting managers to recognise and understand their H&S responsibilities and obligations
* To promote health & safety throughout the business by working closely with site teams to ensure a safe environment
* Prepare information to support specific projects with regard to current Health, Safety, Fire and Risk Management legislation, regulation and best practice
The successful candidate will have
A background in Health and Safety within the social housing sector
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
* Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
* Strong collaboration skills to work with different teams and external agencies.
* NEBOSH in Health & Safety or equivalent
