FM Conway is seeking a Production Plant Fitter to join our Aggregates and Asphalt division. This is a permanent, full time position where you will be required to work remotely covering our Asphalt Plants in Erith, Heathrow, Reading, Theale, Aldershot, Croydon and Newhaven.
The duties of the role will include:
- Ensuring all required maintenance duties are carried out, including preventative maintenance
- Attending to breakdowns and executing mechanical repairs
- Fabricating and welding
- Supporting the site based fitters and operations.
- Ensuring all plant and other defects are reported correctly and timely
- Confirming the plant is complying with ISO 19001 quality standards
-Complying with company health, safety, and environmental policy, highlighting any issues appropriately
- Undertaking other duties and any ad hoc projects as required by the business
What skills and experience do you need?
To be considered for this role you must have experience in mechanical repair skills also burning, welding and fabrication skills will be needed. A full UK driving licence will be required for this role.
