About the job:
Tadaweb is hiring a Director to lead its growing UK & Northern Europe public sector business that includes sales of our SaaS licenses and on-site support. This is a people management and client-facing role with responsibility for driving the continued expansion of our business in the UK and building our business in Northern Europe (Nordics, Baltics, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, etc.).
This role will lead a growing team responsible for all activity with public sector customers and prospects in the UK and Northern Europe. They will oversee the delivery of a variety of contracts, pilots and projects; be responsible for setting the strategy for our continued expansion in the UK and Northern Europe; drive the product roadmap to support commercial aims and provide greater value to customers’ missions; and sustain a trusting, passionate team culture in the UK.
This role is based in the Tadaweb London office near Euston and will require travel inside the UK, Northern Europe and beyond for customer engagements and will also require some travel to our Luxembourg HQ and other Tadaweb offices.
Scope of work:
* This role has significant commercial and management responsibilities, but is fundamentally about building deep relationships with our customers and partnering with them to improve their capabilities.
* You will oversee the range of deliverables with existing customers in the public sector, ensure strong performance and seek continued ways of improving the impact Tadaweb has with our users. You will continue our strong reputation for OSINT excellence.
* You will set and implement strategy to grow the business, overseeing our go-to-market strategy in your territories. This includes a combination of directly identifying and shaping emerging opportunities, partnering with trusted organisations and engaging in competitive tenders.
* Thought Leadership: You will be (or become) a recognised voice to our customers on open source intelligence, with the credibility and network to position Tadaweb as the strategic choice for the public sector.
* One of your key responsibilities will be sustaining the strong culture we have in the UK & Northern Europe team that is very collaborative, humble, fun and passionate about the impact innovative tech and cutting edge tradecraft has on our customers’ mission.
* Your team includes both managers who lead teams of OSINT Experts conducting pre-sales, onsite support and customer success management and also GTM leads. You will be a Director of Tadaweb UK Ltd and own the compliance with any public sector security requirements.
* You will report to the VP Public Sector, who is based in Luxembourg HQ, and will collaborate closely with other regional Directors, the Head of Product, and the Director of Intelligence Innovation and be a key voice on our Product & Commercial Leadership Team.
Your profile:
* Operational experience in intelligence, working with or alongside UK Government.
* Deep domain expertise in intelligence, open-source intelligence, law enforcement investigations, or wider national security and public safety.
* Extensive experience managing (or as trusted supplier of) mission-critical SaaS capabilities, such as OSINT tools and other bespoke intelligence solutions, for national security organizations.
* A passion for developing, managing and scaling teams, with experience as a manager of managers.
* The technical ability to develop deep expertise in the Tadaweb product suite and its use cases.
* Deep knowledge of the commercial ecosystem including system integrators, industry consultants, commercial intelligence providers, public sector procurement processes, etc.
* Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to sell innovative solutions into a new market with a competitive desire to win, and act with the principles of integrity and honesty.
* Willingness to commute to London regularly to be with the team and to self-manage their hybrid-working to support their family and travel as necessary to meet business objectives.
* The ability to attain UK Developed Vetting/Level 3 for this role (details here) which normally requires 10 years residency in the UK.

* Worked in both the public and private sector with some of that time overseas with our customer base in Northern Europe.
* Strong network of senior public sector decision makers and industry stakeholders.
* Depth of experience with shaping, responding to and winning public tenders.
* Previous work experience in the collection of open-source information is a major plus.
* Familiarity with laws, regulations and policies that govern the collection, processing and retention of PAI and OSINT.
* Strong track record of developing creative go-to-market plans.
