ABS are delighted to be working for a long standing client of ours, looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor. They are a leading utilities and infrastructure organisation going through a large period of growth, doubling in size with a projected turnover of £1.2billion in the next 4 years.
What you will be doing:
Work closely with sub-contractors, while ensuring that the needs of a project are met
Effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders, while minimising costs to maximise the value received
Ensure that proper records, including final accounts, are kept and maintained so financial information for audits and cost assurance is readily available.
Develop contract management skills, understanding the New Engineering Contract (NEC) contract and how change control works.
Promote quality, cost, and efficiency strategy to ensure everyone is minimising costs and maximising value and assist with maintaining safety culture - through the production of critical designs, health and safety documentation, O&M manuals and commissioning plansWhat you will have:
