Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting for a Registered Manager for a Residential Children's Home in South East England.
The Registered Manager would be an ambitious leader required to manage the day-to-day operations of the home.
This opportunity would require the Registered Manager to develop and grow this new service and make a difference supporting the children/young people to achieve the best possible outcomes. The environment supports children (7-17 years) with LD EBD for long to medium term planned and emergency admissions.
The ideal person for this Registered Manager position would be a strong, dedicated, and ambitious manager, who is passionate about working with children and young people creating a safe, comfortable and caring home environment.
The purpose of this role:
* The Registered Manager would ensure the Statement of Purpose is in place and is appropriate to the service provision.
* To be responsible for the day-to-day running of this new home, its service delivery, shaping and growth, as well as promoting a safe and supportive environment ensuring the best possible care is delivered to the children and young people at all times.
* To lead and manage a team in the Children's Home and supervise the delivery of placement plans, risk assessments, and behavioural management plans for the children and young people in the home.
* To provide high-quality care services that actively supports the varying needs of the children and young people in the care of the home.
* To provide motivational leadership and be a role model to the staff team and maintain the smooth running of the home.
* To be responsible for the health & safety and home maintenance.
* Complying with the Children's Home Regulation 2015, Quality Standards, Ofsted inspection framework, local authority's expectations and the home Statement of Purpose.
Requirements:
* A level 5 Management and Leadership Diploma in Health & Social Care, Residential Care for Children and Young People.
* Within the last 5 years, worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children and worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
* Knowledge of management of budgets and staff rotas.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, Ofsted Inspection framework, Children's Home Regulation 2015, Quality Standards.
