Major Players are partnering with a reputable media agency to recruit for an Online Account Executive. This position is vital to the Account Management team in the successful planning, execution, and reporting of online media campaigns. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of digital channels and work with interesting clients.
About the Role:
Reporting to an Account Manager and working closely with an Account Director and Head of Online, you will be involved in all aspects of online campaign management. While core responsibilities include reporting, trafficking, and campaign setup, this role offers exposure to online planning and buying across social media, programmatic advertising, display, email, and more.
This is a client-facing role, requiring a confident communicator who is organised, proactive, and eager to learn and develop their skills in the dynamic world of online media.
Job summary:
1. Campaign Reporting:
o Manage weekly reporting dashboards and produce ad-hoc performance reports.
o Progress to handle more complex reporting requirements as your experience grows.
o Participate in client calls to review performance and provide updates.
2. Campaign Setups:
o Efficiently and accurately set up campaigns across various platforms, often under tight deadlines.
o Search Advertising Platforms: Assist with the setup and activation of paid search campaigns, including keyword research, ad copy uploads, and budget/date setting. Review existing campaigns and implement best practices.
o Paid Social Platforms: Set up campaigns, including targeting, ad copy, and budget management. Review and optimise existing campaigns.
o Trafficking: Take ownership of trafficking requirements, including documentation and platform setup. Liaise with relevant partners on campaign implementation.
o Tracking: Coordinate on the implementation of tracking codes with guidance from senior team members.
3. Campaign Management & Optimisation:
o Support budget management and ensure campaigns stay within allocated spending limits.
o Ensure timely campaign launches and troubleshoot any issues.
o Collaborate on ongoing campaign management and optimisation, adhering to best practices.
o Proactively analyse campaign performance, identify trends, and contribute observations for team discussion.
o Assist in generating strategic insights and recommendations to improve campaign efficiency.
o Liaise with media partners to ensure agreed-upon delivery and collaborate on optimisations and advanced reporting.
4. Campaign Planning / Buying:
o Support the team with research, audience data analysis, and keyword research.
o Assist in briefing media owners and compiling audience and buying details.
o Review past campaign performance to inform future planning decisions.
o Maintain a strong understanding of media plans and ensure their accuracy.
5. Client Liaison:
o Communicate with clients regarding media reporting, creative assets, and other campaign-related elements.
o Collaborate on maintaining accurate and up-to-date deliverables documentation.
Skillset required:
* Be analytical, independent & ambitious, with a strong desire to learn and develop your skills in online media.
* Proven track record of accurately and successfully reporting paid media campaigns and demonstrating strong campaign setup skills. At least one year of experience in a similar role.
* Good understanding of KPIs, target audiences, attribution, tracking, and measurement.
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisation skills.
* Demonstrated client management abilities.
* A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
* A self-starter who is proactive and takes initiative.
Salary:
£30-33,000 per annum + company benefits.
Office requirements:
Hybrid working, 2 days per week in their office based in Central London.
