Description Grade UE03: £23,414 - £25,448 per annum 15% premium band Accommodation, Catering and Events/Pollock Halls Full-time: 35 hours per week, 5 over 7 days Open-ended (permanent) The Opportunity: The University of Edinburgh Hospitality and Events Collection is the commercial arm of the world-leading University of Edinburgh, which includes the conference and events team. We provide a professional operation across a broad portfolio of conferences, meetings and events, from major international conferences to day meetings and prestigious dining events (circa 2,000 events annually), held at venues across the University’s portfolio. Additionally, the team operates a large Outside Catering and Delivered Hospitality service to University buildings and to private and corporate locations across the city. The Chef de Partie has a vital leadership and management role within the wider catering team, with significant responsibility to deliver successful events and ensure our long-term success and sustainability.
