Electrician – Social Housing & Public Buildings Location: Portsmouth & Surrounding Areas | Permanent | Competitive Salary Van & Benefits A respected maintenance contractor operating across the South of England is looking to appoint an experienced Electrician to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified tradesperson looking to further their career in a stable, supportive, and busy environment. Working on a long-term contract for a well-established public sector client, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical repairs and installations across a diverse property portfolio. This includes residential housing, schools, offices, heritage sites, and public buildings. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out reactive and planned electrical repairs in occupied and void properties Electrical testing, fault-finding, and installations Working on domestic heating systems and rewires Ensuring compliance with health & safety and company procedures Providing high levels of customer service when working in residents' homes or public buildings Requirements: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 2391 or equivalent (2394/2395) Testing & Inspection certification Valid UK driving licence Previous experience in social housing or a maintenance environment (2–5 years desirable) Why Apply?
