Benefits Company car \n Car allowance \n Private healthcare\n Life assurance scheme \n 25 days holiday.\n \nJob title BMS Commissioning Engineer\nWhat will this person be doing? \nCommission and test BMS systems to ensure they operate according to design specifications and client requirements.\n\nProgram and configure BMS software and hardware (e.g., controllers, sensors, actuators).\n\nIntegrate BMS with third-party systems such as HVAC, lighting, and fire alarm systems.\n\nConduct functional testing, point-to-point checks, and system diagnostics.\n\nIdentify and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases.\n\nWork closely with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure coordination and timelines are met.\n\nGenerate commissioning documentation, reports, and system handover packs.\n\nPerform site inspections and provide technical support during and after system handover.\n\nEssential Skills \n\nStrong understanding of BMS systems\n\nProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics\n\nExperience with HVAC systems and controls integration\n\nKnowledge of networking protocols and system communication (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, KNX)\n\nAbility to program and configure BMS controllers and software platforms\n\nStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skills\n\nGood understanding of electrical and mechanical systems\n\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, contractors, and project teams\n\nSalaryNegotiable \nLocation North west\nWorking hours 37.5hr week - Excessive overtime is not encouraged/normal but required if works required out of hours.\nInterview Process 2 stage process:\n First interview via phone call\n Second interview in the East Kilbride office face to face\nStart Date As soon as possible \nFeedback ASAP\nTerms Agreed Yes
