This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. DAY TO DAY: Supporting the Retail Manager in ensuring the convenience shop provides excellent service and meets performance goals. Motivating and managing a team of staff and volunteers to create a welcoming, professional environment. Overseeing stock management, purchasing, and ensuring high-quality merchandise. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Monitoring performance indicators and assisting in operational improvements. Using technology to track sales, analyse data, and identify trends. Promoting retail operations through social media and other communication channels. Taking the lead in the Retail Manager's absence, handling day-to-day operations. WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE: Experience in retail management or a similar role. Strong organizational and operational skills with a focus on detail. A positive and professional attitude, capable of inspiring a team. Confidence with technology to manage sales records and stock systems. A passion for contributing to a cause and upholding the charity’s values.
