Job Description
Are you passionate about managing and maximizing the performance of PBSA assets? We are seeking proactive individuals to join our team as Senior Asset Manager and Asset Manager. These newly created roles are integral to the effective management and operation of our direct-let PBSA assets. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing and maximizing the performance of a portfolio of PBSA assets, ensuring their financial, social, and environmental value.
What you'll be doing:
* Asset Level Strategy: Design, implement, and deliver Asset Business Plans in line with Key Performance Indicators.
* Asset Performance Management: Maximize value and performance, including asset-level P&L responsibility and tracking.
* Value Add: Identify and execute value-add opportunities to enhance asset performance.
* Sustainability: Progress the ESG strategy through various activities and projects to achieve sustainability objectives.
* Reporting & Data: Monitor performance to assist in internal and external reporting, including input into the valuation process.
* Acquisition Support: Collaborate with the transactions team to research and underwrite potential acquisitions.
* Stakeholder Relationships: Work closely with Property Management partners and coordinate with specialist consultants. Strategically manage PBSA operating partners to ensure peak performance.
* Ideas and Innovation: Innovate and identify best practices globally to maximize income.
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
* Previous residential real estate experience. Whilst not necessarily coming from an asset management role, it is anticipated that the successful candidate will demonstrate a strong awareness of this function, together with a solid investment acumen and an energetic approach.
* A team player demonstrating high levels of energy and commitment.
* A track record of experience and knowledge within the residential sector is preferred for this role.
* An ability to challenge, innovate and create. As a new sector the candidate must be willing to share their views openly.
* To identifying and implementing ways to improve our current approach to BTR investment and operation.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively.
