Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and progressive Community Children's Nursing Team Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) as a Band 6 Nurse. The post sits in a well-established, friendly CCN team that delivers acute, specialist school, ambulatory and chronic, complex care, providing a 5-day service to children and their families living in Harrow Borough. The post holder will work across the Community Children's and Specialist School Nursing Team. You will not be required to work weekends and bank holidays currently. However, this may be needed in future as the service is looking to provide a 7-day week service. This challenging and rewarding role offers the opportunity to meet the needs of children, young people and their families within a multidisciplinary inter-agency framework. Main duties of the job We are looking for an enthusiastic forward thinking children's nurse, community experience would be an advantage but not essential. You will be a highly motivated independent practitioner with sound evidence based skills. The post holder will manage a varied caseload, act as a resource for an identified area of clinical special interest and contribute to the on-going development of the CCN and SSN team.
