We are currently seeking Senior Care Assistants (also known as Care Team Leaders) for vacancies within Lenthall House, Care Home, night and day shifts.
Main responsibilities:
* Being a supportive and important member of a caring team.
* Participating fully in the delivery of care with quality and standard.
* Giving detailed care with reference to key-workers and helping guide a team while supporting the Home Manager.
Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Assisting with moving and handling residents.
* Maintaining Health & Safety standards & Fire Procedures.
* General supervision of residents during mealtimes; assisting residents with meals as necessary.
* Maintaining and recording necessary documentation.
* Participating in all forms of social and recreational activities.
* Medication Administration and Medical assistance/standards.
* Allocation of staff and Home Management support.
* Documentation; Care Plans, Supervisions, and Personal Checklists.
Skills/Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
* Medication knowledge/administration.
* First Aid certification.
* Good numeric and literacy skills.
* Caring attitude.
* Good communication skills.
* A strong team worker.
* Supportive and patient demeanor.
* Reliable and punctual.
