This payroll administrator job has arisen due to internal growth within the firm.
Your new role
You will be joining a team responsible for end-to-end payroll, from whom you can learn and develop daily. In terms of your responsibilities, you will manage the payroll for a portfolio of bureau clients. You will handle and contact these clients daily, whilst processing end-to-end payrolls including pension uploads. Preparing month-end journals and reports for posting and audits will be required, along with maintaining document control systems. Other duties will include generating reports for BAC, third parties, and PAYE returns, as well as maintaining client records.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need prior payroll experience. The desired experience would be in practice, but industry experience will also be considered. You should possess a good level of experience and knowledge with payroll, including HMRC legislation, pensions, and auto enrolment. Familiarity with payroll software, preferably BrightPay, is also required. Additionally, you should be a personable individual with the motivation to succeed and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
