Petrofac is seeking a Project Delivery Consultant - Contractor for 12 months based in Aberdeen, UK.
The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage.
Scope of Services:
1. Act as project management focal point with authority within the limits of the project parameters.
2. Interact regularly with project sponsors and stakeholders.
3. Develop appropriate project management strategies for to ensure ‘fit for purpose’ delivery.
4. Facilitate and lead the creation of task/project budgets, work breakdown structures, high level estimates, task prioritization and integrated plans.
5. In collaboration with Supply Chain Management, responsible for the development and implementation of contracting strategies to support the delivery of projects.
6. Coordinate, resolve, or assist in resolution of conflicts and other issues on the project and recommend/provide solutions.
7. Facilitate and enable collaborations between project engineers and engineering delivery team to optimise performance.
8. Facilitate, and participate in the planning process and provide input for decisions effecting facility engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
9. May perform duties of an Engineering Technical Support Specialist.
10. Able to analyze, diagnose and use project management tools and professional judgement to resolve discreet problems at a senior project management level.
11. Maintain regular communication with Engineering, Construction and Commissioning leads where necessary within the wider project delivery process.
12. Play an active role in supporting Petrofac drive to digitally enhance delivery methods.
13. Ensure effective use of Petrofac Project Management Process in the management and discharge of Project activities.
Accountability for Deliverables:
Services should be provided to enable production of the following deliverables where required as part of project specific works, specific clients and durations will be called off as part of the purchase order:

2. Productivity and operational efficiency.
3. Regular project updates and summary documents.
4. Action register.
5. Resource histograms.
6. Risk and Opportunity register.
7. Manhour reports.
8. P6 schedule.
9. Cost Reporting.
10. Engineering and design deliverable status register.
11. Procurement status reports.
12. Technical queries.
13. Management of change.
