We have a fantastic new opportunity for an EC&I Engineer to join our Industrial Biomass team.

The role will involve
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing Electrical, Controls and instrumentation maintenance throughout the Industrial Biomass sites
2. Ensuring compliance of C&I assets with HSEQ standards
3. Ensuring all measurement systems, Flow meters, steam meters, heat meters, temperature, Level & Pressure instruments are gathering data correctly and perform calibrations to OEM instructions
4. Ensuring all steam control valves, instruments are reading correct to the sites BMS/SCADA, rectify if there is a discrepancy
5. Implementing and testing of systems
6. Fault finding and investigations on faults to include a full report on findings and rectification work
7. Understanding Site drawings & P&ID’s and review with any additions added per site
8. Developing and implement engineering procedures, instructions, method statements
9. Carrying out Maintenance of DCS systems, to ensure figures and readings are correct from screen to field
10. Assisting with scheduled and unscheduled outages
11. Maintenance and fault identification on Low Voltage (up to 415 vac) electrical installations, switchgear and distribution systems
12. Accurately complete job records on the Computer Maintenance Management System (Protean) so that data/trends can be compiled
13. Identifying and implementing continuous improvement solutions, and to put forward improvement recommendations to plant, equipment and working practices where identified
14. Assisting with projects including conception of ideas, installation and commissioning, monitoring and maintaining
What we are looking for
Experienced in performing fault finding and rectification on a wide range of electrical, control and instrumentation equipment our successful candidate will also demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:
1. Time served EITB or NVQ Electrical, Control or Instrumentation Apprenticeship
2. NVQ, C&G Level 3 or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
3. BS7671 and Inspection and Testing qualifications or open to required training
4. Demonstrable experience of ensuring compliance with appropriate Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental standards, policies, and procedures
5. Sound understanding of working under safe systems of work including permit to work, method statements and risk assessments
6. Ability to provide accurate record keeping and reporting
7. Experience of assisting with scheduled and unscheduled outage activities as required, to ensure all aspects of EC&I work are completed to program, in a safe and efficient manner
8. Knowledge and experience of developing and implementing engineering procedures, instructions, method statements, risk assessments and guidance documents
9. Effective communication skills with the ability to engage and influence team members at all levels within the organisation

Additional information
1. Location: Field based covering sites across the UK
2. To be based in the Cambridge, Doncaster or Peterborough area
3. Competitive salary to be discussed at interview
4. Hours of work: 40 Hours, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm
5. Contract Type: Permanent
6. This role will require frequent travel to AMP sites across the UK including overnight stays when required
7. Company vehicle will be provided with this role
8. There will be a requirement for lone working
