Reporting to:Shift Manager
We are excited to announce an opportunity for the position of Shift Technician. As a key member of the team, you will take on responsibilities for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of both front:end and back:end equipment. This includes running and maintaining critical machinery such as body:makers, trimmers, conveyors, presses, coaters, decorators, LSMs, Belvac, neckers, and light testers. You will be performing regular quality checks, carrying out neck diameter changes, and taking part in overhauls and project work as required. Additionally, you will support the maintenance of all plant services. In this role, you will also be instrumental in maintaining high standards of quality, output, spoilage controls, and housekeeping. Ensuring that health and safety standards are adhered to will be a critical part of your daily tasks. Key Responsibilities Include:
Running and maintaining both front:end and back:end equipment.
Conducting regular quality checks and changes, including neck diameter adjustments.
Managing overhauls, project work, and plant service maintenance.
Achieving production targets, implementing spoilage controls, and maintaining housekeeping standards.
Strictly following health and safety protocols. What We're Looking For:

Professional Requirements
Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Fluent in written and spoken English
Desirable:Time served apprenticeship
HNC Qualification
