First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join an established and growing company in the Edinburgh region. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to aerospace industries world-wide.

What's on Offer:

* A straight to permanent role
* £18.30/hr
* 37hr/week
* A rotating 3 shift pattern Monday to Friday

This role will report directly to the Maintenance Technician and you will be expected to work with minimal supervision, once you've been trained.

Rotating Pattern is Structured Accordingly:

Monday - Thursday:

* Early Shift 6.00am to 2.00pm
* Back Shift 2.00pm to 10.00pm
* Night Shift 10:00pm to 6:00am

Friday:

* Early Shift 6.00am to 12.20pm
* Back Shift 12.20pm to 6.40pm
* Night Shift 6:40pm to 1:00am

Duties will involve the following:

1. Carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance to a high level responding quickly and efficiently to plant breakdowns.
2. Assisting with the successful introduction of new/modified parts, equipment and tooling.
3. Performing risk assessments, re-assessments, statutory checks and weekly inspections.
4. Developing working processes as part of methodologically planned maintenance.
