An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical biased Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Manufacturing organisation known worldwide. The Maintenance Electrician role is commutable from the following locations: Blackburn, Burnley, and Preston.
The Maintenance Electrician will be required to work the following shifts: Days & Twilight. Monday to Thursday 07:30 am to 16:15 pm, Friday 07:30 am to 12:30 pm, and Monday to Thursday 15:30 pm to 23:30 pm, Friday 12:00 pm to 18:00 pm.

Key Requirements for the Maintenance Electrician:
1. Apprentice trained - holding a formal qualification in Electrical engineering
2. Strong fault-finding abilities
3. Fault finding abilities with Siemens / Allen Bradley PLC's
4. Experience with Servo Drives, AC Drives, CNC Machines, and Conventional machines
5. Slight mechanical ability would be an advantage
6. Welding skills would be an advantage
Key Duties for the Maintenance Electrician:
1. Perform planned and preventative maintenance
2. Fault finding during production on site
3. Support your team and functions throughout the plant
4. Liaise with coordinator to establish requirements
5. Assess each job and the need for spare parts
6. Self-development activities
7. Maintain high quality electrical installation, repairs, and maintenance to machinery and site
