The Role
As Advertising Manager across multiple channels, you will be responsible for owning the overarching strategy of our clients' ad accounts and proactively ensuring the day-to-day execution of all elements of paid advertising activity. You will employ the ability to coordinate various ad accounts with a strong platform knowledge and manage client relationships to make sure you and the wider team deliver an excellent paid media service to our clients, assist smooth operations, experimentation, media plans, performance optimisation, and reporting & analysis.

The role will have exec level resources to manage, alongside access to a design team and any outsourced resources that may be required.
Campaign Management
* Devise a coherent strategy and translate this into campaign delivery
* Effectively manage our clients' ad accounts, ensuring ongoing and timely optimisation is delivered; proactively looking for both tactical and strategic optimisation opportunities
* Make sure that service-level agreements are aligned with all relevant stakeholders and that all deadlines are met, with tasks managed through our project management suite
* Monthly reporting & ongoing analysis of results to drive enhancements
* Ensure client budget is deployed effectively and paced throughout the billing periods
* Ensure that the core account objective (such as ROAS) are held and the centre of the strategy and are maximised to the greatest extent possible
* Ensure adherence to paid search & social channel best practices for clients, and contribute to the evolution of our ‘Umi’ approach to marketing
Client Success
* Foster an excellent working relationship across all clients & suppliers to facilitate flawless execution of plans and build rapport to become a trusted advisor
* Great interpersonal skills to manage clients and other stakeholders
* Hold regular meetings and ensure clients are updated on progress throughout each month
Team Player
* Active member of the Umi & advertising communities, which includes contributing to internal team meetings, participation in events & networking
* Aid in building up advertising executives and account managers to maximise their potential. We aim to foster a love of learning within the business
* Assist in growing the team as and when required
Operational Excellence
* Highly skilled in prioritisation, time management and the ability to strategically and proactively plan
* Ensure that wider client or team deliverables (such as performance commentary and weekly reporting) are prepared and sent on time, working with other team members on delivery of this information, and ensuring quality of output is maintained
* Making full use of the technology available, implementing and managing processes and practices that maximise operational efficiencies and ensuring transparency whilst identifying opportunities for process improvement, and providing recommendations
* Takes ownership of issues when they arise and proactively suggests ways to resolve these and prevent them from happening in the future
Measures for success in this role will include: number of account errors, continuity of accounts, commercial performance and results of client accounts, completion of tasks & projects on time, client feedback, effective communication, proactivity and strategic planning.
