Axcis Education - SEN Recruitment Agency is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Cover Supervisor specializing in Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join a well-respected school in Cheshire East. As a Cover Supervisor with SEN expertise, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that SEN students receive the support they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities: Provide essential support for SEN students in the absence of regular teaching staff. Implement and adapt pre-set lesson plans to meet the unique needs of SEN students. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages engagement and participation. Assist with classroom management and provide one-on-one support to students with SEN requirements. Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviour, and achievements. Collaborate closely with the SEN department, teachers, and school leadership to ensure the best possible learning experience for SEN students. Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Previous experience working in an educational setting, particularly with SEN students, is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills and a deep understanding of SEN best practices. Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting the unique needs of SEN students.
