Salary: Unqualified: £28,582 - £30,282 per annum + £3,000 MRA
Qualified: £31,182 - £36,084 per annum + £6,000 MRA
(MRA dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hours: 37 hours per week, all year round

Do you have a passion to teach and share your knowledge and expertise with students?
We are looking for an inspirational Lecturer to teach, assess and co-ordinate a range of Computing Courses. Ideally with experience of Coding including Python3 hardware, operating systems and Networking, however knowledge of the Adobe creative suite would also be extremely advantageous. Our courses range from Level 1 to 3 with the possibility for you to teach other related programmes including HE & apprenticeships.
This is an exciting and growing area with T levels on the Horizon. Delivering computing and IT, the successful candidate should be qualified to degree level in a relevant subject area such as Computer Science or Graphic Design with a comprehensive knowledge and recent experience of working in a relevant environment.
You should hold a teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or display a willingness to work towards the Level 5 Diploma teaching qualification (supported by CPD) upon appointment. You must also have experience of delivering lessons at a standard of 'Good' or above, possess excellent communication skills and be highly motivated to provide an outstanding service to our learners.
You will contribute effectively to the successful learning experiences of students in the College through effective teaching that meets or exceeds College standards and results in high levels of student retention and achievement, and be responsible for supporting relevant work experience for students in industry.
