We are looking for a Sales Development Executive. Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, this role will focus on supporting and driving sales within a range of On Trade customers. As a member of the team, you will be delivering against set objectives and KPIs within a fun and fast-paced environment, while being able to sell one of the most exciting portfolios in the On Trade.
Key Accountabilities:
* Responsibility for growing and retaining your existing customer base and sales across your territory, working with licensed bars, restaurants, hotels, and pubs.
* Ensure the correct balance of prospect calls to existing stockists to drive customer wins.
* Utilise all the CMBC commercial levers available to ensure that new distribution is both won and secured through contracts.
* Strengthen existing relationships within your territory as well as growing and developing your network further by identifying new opportunities for business.
* Effectively plan and manage the working day to ensure coverage is achieved at key trading times.
* Be passionate about the industry, keeping up to date with new trends and industry news.
Experience and Key Attributes:
* Live within the territory and have a full driving license.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service, sales, & interpersonal skills to create first-class customer relationships.
* Be ambitious with a drive to progress your career within CMBC further.
* Be commercially aware - demonstrated ability to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities, negotiate deals and close transactions.
* Experience of sales in an FMCG, retail or similar environment would be beneficial.
* Clear communication skills, both verbal and written to convey information, influence decisions and build rapport.
* Time Management – Excellent organisational skills to prioritise tasks, manage diary and meet sales targets within deadlines.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adaptable to change.
* Problem Solver – proactive approach to identifying challenges and developing creative solutions to overcome obstacles and drive sales growth.
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
