Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise the supply chain process.
* Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods.
* Lead negotiations for major contracts and agreements.
* Oversee the procurement budget, cost analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with industry-related regulations and standards.
* Coordinate with other departments for smooth inter-departmental operations.
* Monitor market trends and make recommendations for procurement decisions.
* Conduct risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
Profile
A successful Procurement Manager should have:
* Proven track record in a procurement management role, ideally in a similar industry.
* Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
* Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
* Excellent understanding of the Automotive/ Manufacturing industry.
