We have an opportunity for a Regional Support Engineer within our Central and Southwest Region. This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. What we are looking for: Experience in managing in an Engineering Maintenance Environment. Experience in working under own initiative is required. Experience in delegating duties and line managing Engineers up to the level of Senior Engineer Current Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card at appropriate level of qualification. If electrically qualified, current Electro-technical Certification Scheme (ECS) Card required Degree, City& Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering essential Time served apprenticeship in a Mechanical or Electrical biased discipline desirable Membership of an appropriate Engineering Institute or professional body Duties of this role include: Oversee the provision of Routine and Specialised Engineering Maintenance and breakdown support to hospital sites within Region Management of Environment and energy reduction with your region Provide competent Technical, Health, Safety and Environmental support and assistance Regular visits to all sites that form part of your region for update meetings and support, and cover sites in your region as part of holiday, sickness, Vacancy’s, and or general support provision.
