Secondments will be considered however approval must have been gained beforehand and evidence submitted with application An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Coordinator to join the Lancashire Safeguarding Business Unit (LSBU) which supports the Lancashire Children's Safeguarding Assurance Partnership (CSAP. It is an instrumental role in ensuring the LSBU effectively fulfil their assurance, business and statutory functions working closely with our multi-agency Safeguarding Partners and other agencies. We are seeking dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative candidates who can work under limited supervision, have significant experience in a safeguarding environment to support excellence of practice, coordinating multi-agency projects, involvement in case scrutiny, knowledge of quality assurance and safeguarding practice with the ability to write high level reports. The successful candidate should be resilient, with excellent communication and project management skills and can deal with the sensitive and emotional nature of our work. Experience of multi-agency working and coordinating complex projects would be beneficial. Ideally, we are looking for someone to work full-time, 5 days a week, however if the right person should be interested in this opportunity, then we are willing to consider an alternative working pattern. It is essential the post holder is available to start as soon as possible and has recent experience of working in a Safeguarding Business Unit.
