Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical)

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, responsive, and cost-effective electrical maintenance services across site distribution systems and associated equipment.
Working independently or as part of a team, the supervisor will carry out planned preventive and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical distribution systems, controls, lighting, emergency systems, and plant room electrical systems
These tasks will be performed with a focus on meeting both service and customer expectations.
In addition to core maintenance duties, the Maintenance Supervisor will provide mentoring and support to the team of electricians under their supervision, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
You will also participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota to ensure continuous service availability. The position requires a proactive and skilled professional with a Level 3 qualification and a relevant ECS membership, combining technical expertise with leadership to enhance operational effectiveness and team performance.
Responsibilities
* Respond promptly to Helpdesk requests and perform repairs professionally and within timeframes.
* Complete Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPMs) in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Ensure all repair and service documentation is completed accurately and on time.
* Participate in out-of-hours on-call rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
* Perform fault-finding on electrical systems up to 415V.
* Conduct minor installation tasks, such as lighting and small power systems.
* Maintain open communication with colleagues and promote teamwork.
* Assist team members to deliver high-quality services.
* Foster strong relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers.
* Adhere to relevant standards, legislation, policies, and protocols, ensuring compliance with VINCI and industry safety standards.
* Cooperate with staff and external contractors to complete works efficiently and meet operational needs.
* Review and act on service reports from contractors, addressing defects and repairs as necessary.
* Perform additional duties and responsibilities as directed by management.
About You
* Desired Qualification Level: Level 3 (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or a related field).
* Desired Professional Membership Level: ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme).
