Mobile Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical & Electrical
Location: North Wales
Contract: Full time, permanent.
Hours: 38.75 hours week. Core hours Monday - Friday between 8am and 5pm (variable) and take part in On Call rota covering 24/7/365

Your new role
What you’ll do:
As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer with Robertson Facilities Management, you will support our client with the repairs and maintenance of school buildings in the North of Wales. You will be electrically qualified and either experienced or willing to expand your skill set to include working on Air Conditioning and other mechanical aspects of schools' maintenance. Your key responsibilities include:
1. To ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of various contracts.
2. To undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work on equipment as defined by your core and non-core skills as per the agreed client programme.
3. Provide timely updates to the helpdesk on progress of reactive works and completion of reactive / planned tasks.
4. Provide written technical reports as required, including routine maintenance and reactive reports.
5. Diagnosing faults on all M & E systems and rectifying as within levels of competence.
6. To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools.
7. Facilitate site attendance by specialist sub-contractors as required by the contract.
8. Complete all regulatory and mandated documents such as Permit to Work Systems as required.
9. Undertake job specific risk assessments as may be required prior to starting work.
What you'll need:
10. Completed relevant recognised trade apprenticeship or other relevant qualification
11. Experience in electrical power distribution systems and emergency lighting systems
12. Qualified 18th Edition
13. Preferred - City & Guilds NVQ in Servicing and Maintaining Air Conditioning
14. Preferred - Experience in HVAC control systems
15. Preferred - Experience with BMS Control Systems
Valid UK Driving Licence required.
The successful candidate will require a Enhanced DBS Check before starting in the job.
