About Brookvent
Brookvent is a market leader in innovative ventilation solutions, offering high-quality window vents and louvre products. We serve the construction industry with a focus on delivering exceptional ventilation products to meet the needs of residential and commercial buildings. We are currently seeking a proactive and driven Sales Representative to manage and grow our window fabricator client base across Ireland.
Reports to: Sales Manager
Location: Based in Belfast, covering the Irish market Employment
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, with performance-based commission and benefits
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Account Management:
1. Develop and maintain relationships with window fabricators across Ireland.
2. Identify new sales opportunities within the window fabrication sector and expand the company’s client base.
3. Manage existing accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and ongoing client satisfaction.
4. Collaborate with customers to understand their specific needs and provide tailored ventilation solutions.
5. Travel throughout Ireland to meet with clients, conduct product presentations, and negotiate contracts.
Product Promotion and Technical Support:
1. Become an expert on Brookvent’s range of window vents and louvre products, understanding their applications and benefits.
2. Advise clients on the most suitable products for their projects, providing technical guidance where necessary.
3. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for fabricators, installers, and specifiers.
4. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor products to ensure Brookvent remains competitive.
Business Development Manager:
1. Proactively generate leads and close sales, contributing to the company’s overall growth and sales targets.
2. Develop and execute a sales strategy aimed at increasing market share in the window fabrication industry.
3. Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to promote Brookvent’s products and identify new business opportunities.
4. Build strong relationships with architects, specifiers, and contractors to promote Brookvent’s solutions on upcoming projects.
Administration and Reporting:
1. Maintain up-to-date records of all client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in the company’s CRM system.
2. Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
3. Work closely with the internal team to ensure smooth order processing, product delivery, and after-sales support.
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, ideally within the window fabrication, construction, or building materials industry.
2. Experience selling to window fabricators or knowledge of window systems is highly advantageous.
3. Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Technical Knowledge:
1. Familiarity with window vents, louvre systems, or other architectural hardware is a plus.
2. Ability to understand and discuss technical aspects of ventilation systems and how they integrate into window fabrication.
3. Strong sales acumen with a proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and manage long-term client relationships.
4. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
5. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex sales processes.
Personal Attributes:
1. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
2. Willingness to travel regularly across Ireland to meet clients.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Team player with a collaborative approach to working with internal departments.
Qualifications:
1. A degree in Business, Sales, or a relevant field is desirable but not essential.
2. Knowledge of the Irish construction and building regulations is advantageous.
3. A full driving license is required.
