Were currently recruiting for a Senior Procurement Manager. Location: Bolton Salary: Grade 7 - £48,890 - £53,540 Basis: Full Time Contracted Hours: 36 Hours Package: Permanent Working Pattern: Monday - Friday Why is the role important? The Senior Procurement & Contracting Manager will lead the Procurement team to ensure a fair and efficient procurement process, working across the organisation to co-ordinate and oversee effective procurement and contract management, including the development of the corporate contracts register. The role is essential to ensure that the organisation meets its legal obligations related to procurement across the organisation and obtains full value from the contracts that are procured. Key Outcomes Development and delivery of the Procurement Plan, ensuring compliance with the current public procurement regulations Manage multiple complex, business critical procurement activities with a focus on value for money, mitigating risk and stakeholder engagement Deliver a seamless service of procurement to ensure delivery of improvements to our customers homes Development of effective contract management strategies to extract maximum value from contracts, motivate performance and drive innovation Whats involved? Lead on the continuous development of the groups procurement strategy. Ensure associated processes enable fair and efficient tendering and contract management. Lead on above and below threshold procurement across the Group ensuring compliance with both Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the new Procurement Act 2023. Ensure the full involvement of commissioners and working with experts where appropriate. Identify and produce performance management standards to measure the delivery of the procurement strategy, including benchmarking of external data. Ensure robust systems are in place to maintain accurate and timely information about existing contracts, including associated risks, liabilities and mitigations. Lead on developing Bolton at Homes group contract management approach, supporting the achievement of value for money, including appraisal of contracts expiring.
