Catering Manager - Milton KeynesUp to £36,000 per annum (DOE)Predominately Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm - however the site is 24/7 and therefore, attendance on the weekend and night shift will be required occasionally. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager based at our unit in Milton Keynes. You will be providing outstanding service to the staff and customers whilst guiding and motivating your team to be the best they can possibly be.
Services provided are breakfast, lunch and night service plus hospitality.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Understand and deliver all contractual terms
2. Communicate any on site client changes to line manager.
3. Communicate regularly with client (as agreed)
4. Action plans are completed following client satisfaction surveys
5. Ensure all client hospitality is delivered to the correct standard and look to up sell to increase revenue
6. Ensure all company promotions are correctly implemented (where applicable)
7. Ensure all products are correctly priced
8. Analyse and effectively manage all in unit costs
9. Monitor and manage GP
10. Ensure cost and sales records are accurately inputted and maintained
11. All food wastage is recorded and minimised
12. Team are supported, trained, coached and develop
13. Labour turnover is monitored, and team is fully recruited
14. Implement all relevant HSE procedures within the unit and review them as appropriate.
15. Ensure all food Prepared, cooked, and presented to the required standards and portion specifications
16. Manage the processing of food orders, the receipt and storage of deliveries
17. Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchens and surrounding working areas
18. Ensure the correct use of all machinery and equipment
19. Perform other general tasks to support effective food service delivery as reasonably requested
About You
20. Previous Catering management experience in a similar role including client management
21. Culinary background essential
22. Passionate about working in a food service environment
23. Great eye for detail
24. Good communication skills and able to work positively with others as part of a team
25. Friendly, helpful & polite
26. Good mentoring skills
