I enjoy being outdoors, playing in the park and I like sensory things like sand, mud, play-doh and flour. I am a fussy eater but I do like to go to McDonalds as I like chicken nuggets. I also like eating at KFC. You will: ● Support Hari when out in the community with accessing all the activities he enjoys. ● Discuss other activity ideas with his parents to broaden Hari’s experiences. ● Support Hari when out and about and always hold his hand near roads and cars. Hours: ● 4 hours on a Saturday and 4 hours on a Sunday. With an additional 8 hours during the school holidays. ● Someone who is flexible with their time and who can commit to working during the weekend and school holidays. ● Hours and times can be agreed upon starting Skills, qualifications and experience: Essential: ● Some understanding of children with Autism and additional needs ● Someone who can drive ● Good mobility themselves and who is able to run around and be active ● To have the ability to support Hari if he is dysregulated ● Resilience and commitment ● Good communicator The person we employ will have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work including total respect for our privacy. Hari’s personal assistant will be employed, directed by and accountable to his parents in all aspects.
