We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP YOI Doncaster, a category B remand prison housing around 1145 patients aged 18-94 years of age. Within this role you will work with a broad range of complex presentations. The role would be suitable for a newly qualified (with preceptorship) or experienced Psychologist familiar with working with adult mental health presentations, neurodiversity and complex trauma. The applicant must be familiar with trauma informed approaches. The applicant will be part of the Integrated Mental Health Team and will be an integral part of the clinical leadership team supporting the development of the psychological therapies service.
Hours
This role is part time working 21.25 hours/ 3 days per week Monday- Friday, we are flexible which days are worked.
Salary
This position is a part time position working 21.25 hours per week offering up to £60,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
* Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) in the form of training, supervision and reflective practice
* Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations
* Deliver and oversee the delivery of 1:1 psychological interventions and group intervention as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme
* Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff where required
* Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation and research profile as appropriate

Qualifications required
* Full HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist
* Proven experience in Clinical/ Forensic or Counselling Psychology
* Experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients
* Experience working with psychological Trauma
* Excellent communication skills
* Team Player
