About the Role We are excited to announce a new position within our organisation for an Assistant Conservation Officer. This role presents a unique opportunity to join our dedicated team and contribute to our conservation services, with a special emphasis on our successful Adopt a Box Scheme and Landowner Conservations Services. Key Responsibilities Support the conservation of various bird of prey species, including: Barn Owls, Tawny Owls, Little Owls, Kestrels, Peregrines Assist in the management and expansion of our Adopt a Box Scheme Collaborate with landowners to enhance conservation efforts Participate in field work and data collection Contribute to educational and outreach programs Work on and with our existing Staff at Shapwick Moor National Nature Reserve in Somerset.
