The Role: Position: Behaviour Support Assistant Start Date: After February half term Location: Kirkham Year Group: Year 6 Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday. 08:30-15:30 Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to a Year 6 pupil, helping to manage and improve behaviour. Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil, fostering their emotional and social development. Collaborate with class teachers and SEN staff to implement behaviour management strategies. Monitor progress and adapt support plans to meet the pupil’s needs. Promote a calm, inclusive, and nurturing environment to support learning. What We’re Looking For: A patient and empathetic individual with experience in behaviour support or similar roles. Ability to engage positively with children facing challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour management or education (preferred but not essential). A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
