Job Description:
Protocol Education is looking to recruit a creative Learning Support Assistant to support in a SEND school. This role encourages creativity in the classroom to inspire and support SEND students.
The children you will support have various special needs, including ASD, SEMH, complex learning disabilities, or behavioral challenges.
You will assist with daily classroom activities and use your creativity to support the students uniquely. Providing 1:1 support and fostering a positive atmosphere are essential. A friendly, positive approach and the ability to build rapport quickly are important.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience working with SEND or children
* Strong interpersonal skills
* A passion for education and creating a supportive learning environment
* The ability to engage students creatively, boost confidence, and promote a fun learning atmosphere
Experience outside traditional school settings, such as youth groups, sports coaching, or after-school clubs, is also valuable.

Pay rates include statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanence later.
