Job Title: Cover Supervisor\n Location: Sunderland\n Salary: £100 - £120 per day\n Start Date: ASAP\n\nWe are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor in the Sunderland area. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for education to join a dynamic and supportive school environment. The role of Cover Supervisor is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a positive impact on their learning experience.\n\nAs a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences.
You’ll ensure that students remain on task, providing guidance and support where needed, and ensuring that the classroom environment is conducive to learning.\n\nKey Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:\n\nHelping pupils with their learning.\nManaging the behaviour of up to 28 pupils during lessons.\nWorking with teachers to deliver lessons and resources.\nAssisting in planning and delivering fun and creative lessons.\nSupporting pupils in building independence and life skills.\nEnsuring pupils are safe and well cared for.\nRequirements for an ideal candidate for the Cover Supervisor role: \n\nAvailable to work Monday to Friday.\nHave experience as a teaching assistant.\nBe proactive, energetic, kind, and caring.\nHold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to go through the process with us).\nHave a fully checkable work history.\nWhat We Offer\n\n Competitive pay rates.\n A supportive and collaborative work environment.\n Opportunities for continuous professional development.\n The chance to make a meaningful impact as a Cover Supervisor in students' educational journeys.\n\nWe also offer online Cover Supervisor training to shape you better \n\nSafeguarding Commitment\n\nThis role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
