Our client is looking for a proactive Transport Support Manager / Transport Admin to join their team based in Foston. You will provide leadership and effective management of Fleet teams so that all objectives and targets are achieved. Ensuring effective communications are developed with and between departments and business streams in order to meet objectives within a prescribed timescale.
You will be working Monday to Friday, rotating over 3 different shifts: 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00, and 22:00 to 06:00.
What you'll do on a typical day as a Transport Support Manager / Transport Admin:
1. Coordinating and prioritising activity across the shifts and business streams to ensure customer service requirements are met
2. Achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through effective use of resources and management of staff
3. Maintaining accurate records and planning to ensure targets are achieved within the financial costings
4. Encouraging employee participation in method improvement, raising quality and effective team working
5. Promoting a flexible approach to delivering business requirements
What you need to succeed as a Transport Support Manager / Transport Admin:
1. Excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills with effective writing and oral communication
2. Sound operational knowledge and experience whilst customer focus is a priority
3. Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills with people management experience with ability to develop a multi-skilled and flexible team
4. PC Skills: EXCEL, Word
