We are currently seeking an Interim Procurement & Energy Coordinator to join our rapidly expanding team based in Harrogate, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate should be confident, analytical, and process-driven, with excellent communication skills.
As a Procurement Coordinator, you'll be responsible for supporting the procurement team in all aspects of the procurement cycle. This includes identifying potential opportunities, assisting with tenders and raising purchase orders.
Accuracy is critical in this role, and the Procurement & Energy Coordinator should be comfortable working with processes and systems. They should take pride in their work and be very attentive to detail. Additionally, they should be comfortable with data analysis and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Finance Team to resolve any non-compliant invoices
* To ensure purchase orders are fulfilled accurately and, in a time-efficient manner
* Central service contract procurement administration.
* To own the Supplier Onboarding process.
* Manage the mobile phone ordering and administering of our device management system.
* Deal with incoming supplier queries regarding POs and/or invoices.
* Identify opportunities to improve current processes.
* Handling general office tasks such as ordering stationery or arranging couriers. (Very sporadically)
* Attend supplier meetings to build knowledge around categories of your interest.
* Act as 1st line support for any general queries coming into the Procurement.
* Be a supportive team member.

Experience and Qualifications
Essential
* Commercial acumen and analytical mindset.
* Understanding of the Procurement Cycle.
Desirable
* 1-2 year experience within a procurement / supply chain setting.
* Understanding of the production of reports.
* Experience in office administration and purchase ordering.
* Experience working in the accommodation sector.
