Job Description
2nd shift!!!
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
* Utilize maintenance system for creating and completing work orders.
* Lube Tech responsibilities.
* Control downtime by informing operation workers of routine preventative maintenance and operation techniques and monitor compliance.
* Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment preventative maintenance.
* Follow all plant safety procedures and guidelines without exception.
* Carry out maintenance process per supervisor instructions expeditiously and perform tasks in a professional manner.
* Support work flows, effective layout, and optimum process conditions.
* Provide P.M. for facilities equipment and production equipment.
* Suggest modifications and improvements to PM.
* Accurately document time and materials on PM forms or work orders.
* Determine possible maintenance problems, identify, and repair.
* Monitor equipment performance. Notify supervision of deviations to normal speeds.
* Review production fixtures and provide input.
* Review and provide input on new facility equipment.
* Support cost savings programs for the manufacturing site.
* Support housekeeping programs for the manufacturing site.
Requirements:
* Must have Journeyman’s card or at least five years of experience and working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics.
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
