The Role:
These are exciting times for Bolton as development continues at pace in the Town Centre as we deliver a wide range of projects outlined in our 2017 Bolton Town Centre Strategy.
The Growth & Regeneration team is looking to recruit a Principal Project Officer to lead, manage, develop and deliver a wide range of projects in Bolton town centre and within our 4 District Centres of Farnworth, Horwich, Little Lever and Westhoughton.
You will be involved in developing a pipeline of programmed projects and will work with our partners, including voluntary organisations and the wider community.
You will work pro-actively and collaboratively with colleagues and partners to help shape the future of Bolton town centre and our District Centres demonstrating a positive image of the service and the Council.
About You:
An experienced planning or regeneration officer/project manager excellent communication, project management, finance and risk management skills will make you an ideal candidate for this position.
You will have experience of developing plans and projects from concept to implementation while working collaboratively with a wide range of partners with potentially competing requirements and deadlines.
You will be adept at analysing and presenting complex technical information and evidence including through the use of IT and also have excellent problem solving and communication skills.
