What you’ll be doing
as the Management Systems Development Manager
1. Responsible for the development, maintenance, and implementation of the LTT ensuring compliance with OFWAT performance commitment.
2. Direct quality and environmental management activities, communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure management goals and objectives are met.
3. To manage the LTT IMS ensuring best practice processes and procedures are being used, supporting compliance with regulations and environmental permits, as well as looking for ways to make improvements.
4. Provide training/awareness on LTT quality and environmental management systems for LTT personnel to ensure the management systems are embedded in Operations.
5. Lead, manage and coordinate management reviews and internal/external audits, including preparation and execution of the LTT IMS audit programme. Use results to improve systems and compliance.
6. Help in defining quality and environmental objectives and metrics (KPI), ensure reporting is in place, analyse performance, and propose corrective or improvement actions and reports.
7. Liaise with Tideway to ensure the Tideway Management System is provided and maintained by Tideway following the System Acceptance Period.
8. Provide technical support for the drafting of key documents, as required.
9. Support the department by liaising or attending meetings with key internal and external stakeholders, as required.
10. Promote a culture of zero-incident, zero harm and zero compromises. Undertake safety observations when on site.
What you should bring to the role
11. Relevant business or technical experience in the water industry.
12. Degree / Post-graduate level education (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
13. Professional qualification in management systems, audit, and asset management such as Member of CQI, ICRA qualified Auditor and Member of IAM.
14. Must have an excellent working knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 and EA guidelines.
15. High attention to detail.
16. Experience in the development and maintenance of effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
17. Experience in supporting and embedding change, able to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours.
18. Proactive approach.
