This role requires a minimum of three days per week on-site at the client's London office. All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) to Security Check (SC) level and potentially NPPV3 clearance.
Your future duties and responsibilities
As the Service Integration Lead, you will be responsible for delivering and assuring the integration of services across multiple suppliers and stakeholders. You will drive the User Services (US) supplier onboarding, contract management, and service integration, ensuring that key deliverables are met.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Leading the integration and management of the User Services (US) supplier, ensuring successful delivery and ongoing contract management.
2. Overseeing system and service integration activities across multiple partners, including Mobile Services, to ensure seamless functionality.
3. Providing leadership to the Solution Integration team, actively engaging with the broader Delivery and Deployment (D&D) team and contributing to programme-wide strategic planning.
4. Ensuring programme-wide oversight of service integration responsibilities and managing dependencies across suppliers.
5. Developing and maintaining the Integrated Programme Plan, ensuring milestone completion and governance adherence.
6. Identifying and mitigating programme-level risks, escalating them to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) as required.
7. Defining and evolving the Programme Operating Model, supporting the transition to full operational capability.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
We are looking for a proactive, strategic leader with experience managing large-scale, complex programmes in critical national infrastructure. You should demonstrate:
1. Experience leading service integration in large-scale programmes (ideally Government, other backgrounds may be suitable).
2. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, suppliers, and programme teams.
3. Proven ability to manage service integration risk and deliver complex technical solutions.
4. Deep understanding of telecoms and critical service communications.
5. Ability to drive business transformation and influence programme-wide change.
6. Strategic planning expertise, with a focus on delivering value and benefits to users.
The following skills and experience would be advantageous:
1. Critical Services Sector Expertise - Experience working with UK police, ambulance, fire, and rescue services.
2. Telecoms Sector Expertise - Knowledge of network deployment, MVNO operations, and data networks.
3. Large-Scale Business Change Management - Experience managing national rollouts and multi-organisation deployments.
4. Innovation & Business Development - Awareness of emerging technologies that could enhance service delivery.
5. Regulatory & Standards Knowledge - Understanding of civil service delivery standards and HMG programme requirements.
6. Risk Management Expertise - Ability to proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve programme risks.
7. Continuous Improvement Mindset - Committed to enhancing delivery efficiency and programme success.
