We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team as soon as possible.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist the teachers in delivering and planning lessons. You will provide support to the students in both small groups and 1-1. In addition to helping academically in the classroom, there will also be a significant requirement to support the students' social and emotional development. Being proactive and able to think on your feet is key, as you ensure all preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources are complete ahead of time.
Relevant experience and qualifications in a similar role are desirable; however, an understanding of supporting others and working in care would be very transferable. The right candidate will have a genuine desire to work with children and support them through their educational journey. You should possess a positive attitude, patience, and empathy. An understanding and commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children must be paramount.
