Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of tasks provided by our sales and transport team. This role requires proficiency in sales and transportation, various software applications and strong clerical skills to maintain efficient office processes.
Main Duties:
1. To input data onto the company systems and software.
2. Assist the Sales, Transport & Admin teams. Working closely with the team to meet customer needs; taking orders, quotations and updating the company systems as required.
3. Provide Customer Service support including product enquiries, order queries and quotations and liaising with other departments across the company.
4. To ensure customer complaints and credit notes are handled promptly, efficiently and to ensure they are recorded in the appropriate manner.
5. To assist in the monitoring of customer accounts ensuring our current business is maintained and drive sales of all products.
6. To distribute copies of paperwork as necessary.
7. Handle telephone enquiries. You must effectively respond to any E-mail or telephone enquiry in a calm and friendly manner.
8. To conduct proactive telesales calls in line with the marketing plan and record data as necessary.
9. To deputize for other members of the department as necessary.
10. To operate within the scope of the Company Quality System and the conditions set out in the Company Staff/Employee Handbooks.
11. To operate in accordance with the requirements of the Company Health and Safety Policy and Procedures.
12. To undertake other duties appropriate to this function as required by the Sales Office Manager, his/her deputies and superiors.
Requirements
* Proficiency in Xero and Google Suite are advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Familiarity with general office procedures and administrative functions.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience as a sales coordinator or similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
